Join Platform 6

You can now apply to become a member of the Platform 6 Development Co-operative.

The membership fees you pay contribute to the development of Platform 6, and as a member you have the opportunity to play a full role in shaping that development.

We use GoCardless to handle membership payments using Direct Debit. It is low cost - meaning that more of your membership fee goes to support co-operative development – and it makes life simpler for you – just set it and forget it, safe in the knowledge that you are protected by the Direct Debit guarantee.

Right now we can only accept payment in sterling from a UK bank account using this method. If this isn't you click here to join and pay via Paypal using a debit or credit card. If neither option works for you, or if you have any queries about membership, please contact us.

Membership application

For individual membership, we've set a minimum membership fee of about a pound a week. You can chooose to pay monthly, quarterly or annually – whichever suits you best. And of course if you would like to pay more than the minimum, simply enter the additional amount that you'd like to contribute over and above the minimum fee.

For example, if you want to pay £15 monthly simply select the monthly option and enter '5' in the additional amount field.

You can also become an organisational member of Platform 6. Organisational membership is currently available on an annually paid cycle at a minimum fee of £120 p.a., plus any additional amount your organisation wishesto contribute. If you are signing up on behalf of an organisation, please tick the box below to that effect, and provide the details for your organisation.

Membership will renew automatically.

You need to be at least 16 years old to be a member.

Under current English law, you must be 16 or over to eligible to become a full voting member of the co-operative. If you are under 16 and want to be involved, please let us know.

All membership applications need to be ratified by the co-operative. The board of directors reserve the right to refuse membership at their discretion. In the highly unlikely situation where a membership application is not ratified, a full refund will be made.
